Since our BLE 5.0 modules RF-BM-ND05 and RF-BM-ND06 based on Nordic multiprotocol nRF52840 SoC are recognized all over the world, the nRF52840 modules are becoming more popular. If you have less knowledge about them, I’d like to make a brief introduction for you guys.
The nRF52840 modules are fully multiprotocol capable with full protocol concurrency. They have protocols support for Bluetooth LE 5.0, Bluetooth mesh, Thread, Zigbee, 802.15. 4, ANT, and 2.4 GHz proprietary stacks. Therefore, nRF52840 modules are well-known as multi-protocol solutions or Bluetooth LE solutions.
The modules with built-in high-performance IFA have multiple outstanding features of low power consumption, small design size, long transmission distance, strong anti-interference ability, etc., and are the ideal choice for these wireless applications such as wearable devices, interactive entertainment devices, etc.
RF-BM-ND05 moduleis designed by Nordic52840 SoC for consumer electronic products and phone peripherals over BLE 5.0. It provides a quick BLE solution for the communication between customers’ products to mobile devices.
The main differences between the RF-BM-ND05 module and the RF-BM-ND05I module are in antenna and transmission range. The IPEX connector and the half-hole antenna interface of the RF-BM-ND05I module make it reach more applications.
OK, it’s the turn of the RF-BM-ND06 module. All pins of RF-BM-ND06 are pulled out based on the LGA package, which makes the module more possible to enter complex applications. Moreover, it has a smaller size than RF-BM-ND05 and RF-BM-ND05I.
Look at the following chart, you’ll get the comparison of the detailed parameters among RF-BM-ND05, RF-BM-ND05I, and RF-BM-ND06 modules.
That’s a brief introduction to Nordic nRF52840 modules. If you want to know more information about another Nordic series, don’t hesitate to contact us at info@szrfstar.com.
